Adrian T. Dillon is chief financial officer and executive vice president, finance and administration of Agilent Technologies. Dillon joined Agilent in December 2001 after a 22-year career at Eaton Corporation where he was executive vice president and chief financial and planning officer. At Agilent, Dillon has responsibility for management of the company's finance functions, strategic planning and corporate development, as well as shared services such as IT, workplace services (facilities and trade), global sourcing and corporate relations.

During his career at Eaton Corporation, an Ohio-based diversified industrial manufacturer, Dillon held a variety of positions. He joined the company in 1979 as senior economist and was later named chief economist, adding the corporate strategy function to his responsibilities in 1984. Dillon was elected assistant treasurer of Eaton in 1988 and was promoted to vice president of planning in 1991. Dillon assumed the position of vice president, chief financial and planning officer in 1995, and was promoted to executive vice president in 1997.

Dillon, who was born in 1954 in Buffalo, New York, is a summa cum laude graduate of Amherst College with a BA in economics. He is past chairman of the Conference Board's Council of Financial Executives. Dillon is currently on the board of directors of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., and of Lumileds, a joint venture of Agilent and Philips. He also serves on the finance committee and board of trustees of Castilleja School, a private girls school in Palo Alto, CA. Long involved in philanthropic endeavors, Dillon was chairman of the board of trustees of Beech Brook, a provider of mental health services for children and families, as well as vice chairman of WVIZ and WCPN, Cleveland's public TV and radio stations, where he also chaired the Strategic Planning Committee.
